TasteIQ is TatvaOps' construction taste and design intelligence product — swipe discovery, Design DNA, Dream Home planning, moodboards, and related services at tasteiq.vercel.app and connected APIs (the "Platform"). This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, and protect personal information. It is inspired by the TatvaOps Vantage Privacy Policy and adapted for TasteIQ.
By using TasteIQ, you acknowledge this Policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use. Read it together with our Terms of Service.
1. Who we are and scope
TasteIQ is operated by TatvaOps for homeowners and project teams exploring residential design and construction. This Policy applies to visitors, registered members, and anyone who uses swipe, Design DNA, Dream Home, moodboards, visual search, consultant tools, Studio/admin surfaces you are authorized to access, and related login methods.
2. Information we collect
- Account and identity — when you sign in with WhatsApp OTP or other offered methods: name, phone number, profile photo URL (if you upload one or a provider supplies it), and account identifiers used to associate your taste activity.
- Profile data — display name, city, bio, budget band, avatar, and preferences you save in Settings.
- Taste and usage data — swipe events, saved images, Design DNA signals, project context, moodboards, visual searches, and interaction timestamps needed for personalization and recommendations.
- AI interactions — prompts and outputs from consultant or vision features, processed to deliver answers and improve safety. Do not submit confidential project data you are not authorized to share.
- Technical data — IP address, browser/device characteristics, request logs, and security signals for rate limiting and abuse prevention.
3. How we use information
- Provide authentication, sessions, and account security.
- Build and update your taste graph, Design DNA, and personalized recommendations.
- Power Dream Home, moodboards, vendor matching, and Living Intelligence features.
- Send transactional messages such as WhatsApp OTP codes and security notices.
- Measure reliability, debug issues, and improve product quality.
- Comply with law and protect TatvaOps, TasteIQ users, and the public from abuse.
4. AI features disclaimer
TasteIQ AI tools generate informational design guidance. They are not a substitute for licensed architectural, engineering, legal, or financial advice. Verify materials, codes, and costs with qualified professionals before site decisions.
5. How we share information
We do not sell your personal data. We may share limited information with:
- Hosting, database, CDN, and Cloudinary media providers under contractual safeguards.
- Authentication and OTP providers (e.g. WhatsApp / MSG91) when you choose those logins.
- AI vendors used for vision tagging, Design DNA narrative, or consultant replies.
- TatvaOps systems (including vendor matching) when you use connected features.
- Legal and safety recipients when required by law or to prevent harm.
6. Retention and security
We retain account and taste data while your account is active and as needed for service integrity, disputes, and legal obligations. We use encrypted sessions, access controls, and rate limits appropriate to the data. No transmission method is perfectly secure.
7. Your choices
- Update profile fields and photo from Profile → Settings.
- Request access, correction, or deletion by contacting support@withtatva.ai.
- Stop using the Platform and sign out at any time.
8. Children
TasteIQ is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18.
